When The Center for Visual Mangement Can Help

Visual processing involves more than just 20/20 acuity. At The Center for Visual Management, we examine our patients’ total visual organization and the way one orients themselves within the environment. Special testing procedures examine the ability of two perceptual styles; focal and ambient vision and further determine how we focus our eyes and concurrently our attention.

If vision dysfunction goes undetected and untreated, a range of difficulties can develop as one grows older. These difficulties can range from developmental delays to serious learning disabilities, emotional problems, and spectrum disorders.
  Level I (Mild)
Problems with reading (decoding  and comprehension), difficulty  with physical activities and sports,  certain types of social problems.
  Level II (Moderate):
Problems with visual organization  and depth perception. These may  manifest themselves as difficulty  with night vision and night driving,  motion sickness and vertigo, light  sensitivity, headaches, and  postural/head shifts.
  Level III (Serious)
Weakness in visual organization  and visual orientation. In some  cases, this could contribute to  autistic behaviors and can even  contribute to emotional conditions,  such as schizophrenia, bipolar  disorder, and depression.
